AutoCAD is the most popular CAD program used in the world, according to the company. Today, AutoCAD is used for drafting, 3D modeling, and visualizations. The most popular version is AutoCAD 2017. AutoCAD’s popularity is due to its ease of use, versatility, and cost. This article provides a quick overview of AutoCAD’s most common features, along with an introduction to the first-time user. Features AutoCAD comes with many features, as shown in Table 1. Table 1. AutoCAD’s Features Introduced in 1982: • 2D drawing and measurement tools • 2D drafting tools • Shape tools • Components and drawing templates • Vector objects, polylines, and polylines, text, and images • Features for designing a logo • Plan view, section view, and detail view • Customizing and using templates, including snap-to functions, 3D modeling tools, and easy-to-use drafting tools • Design tools including lines, circles, arc, rectangles, ellipses, polygons, and text • Precision drawing tools • Drawing environment and tools • Zoom and pan tools • Object manager with comments and properties • Global and local settings • Draw and edit functions • Tools and properties for drawing, including layers and grid lines • Filters, including groups and selection tools • Extrusion, normal, and sweep commands, and mirror functions • Views, including section, print layout, and three-dimensional • Object and tool palettes Quick Start AutoCAD provides a new user with a tutorial and an introduction to the program. After the tutorial is complete, the user is able to start drafting. Beginners can start drafting using predefined templates, while advanced users can build their own templates. To start a new drawing, click the New icon on the Quick Start palette, as shown in Figure 1. This opens the New drawing window, shown in Figure 2. Figure 1. You can use the new drawing window or the New drawing window. Figure 2. Use the AutoCAD program to start new drawings. Figure 2. File Structure AutoCAD Serial Key saves the workspace on disk using the.DWG extension. The workspace consists of several files. The.DWG file This is an AutoCAD standard format file, which includes all the data necessary to recreate the original drawing and geometry as well as extra information such as user settings and drawing history. The basic component of a.DWG file is a drawing. A drawing includes a specification of a collection of objects, such as text, lines, rectangles, and arcs. Each object has its own properties, which can be used to control the appearance and behavior of the object. The properties of a drawing can be defined by the user, or set in the drawing by the designer. AutoCAD saves the workspace settings, layer information, selection, and attribute values in the.DWG file. The workspace settings include the names of the active workspaces, layers, and views. The selection includes all selected objects, including blocks, text, and other user-created objects. The attribute values include information about the text, line, and bar properties of the selected objects. The.DWG file also contains some optional information that is not stored in the drawing itself, including the name and version number of AutoCAD, the date of the last saved drawing, the names and versions of all AutoCAD plugins that are installed, the name and version number of a software installation CD-ROM, and the software license for AutoCAD. Optional Files The.DWG file does not store all of the information needed to recreate the drawing. AutoCAD saves some of this information in other files. The.DWF file The.DWF file contains the information about how the text and dimensions of the drawing are rendered. In addition to the text and dimension data,.DWF files contain options, layer list, and selected objects data. The.SXC file The.SXC file contains the information about the characters that appear on the drawing, including the font name and properties. In addition to the text information, the.SXC file also contains options, layer list, and selected objects information. The.DGS file The.DGS file contains the user preferences for the application. The.DGS file is part of the.DWG file, which means that it is not saved as a separate file. Appearance Options The appearance of objects can be changed by using 3813325f96

Endoscopic ultrasonography-guided fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) plays an important role in the diagnosis of pancreatic masses. The aim of this study was to compare the yield of EUS-FNA with the size and location of the pancreatic mass and the biopsy method. All patients who underwent EUS-FNA for a pancreatic mass between January 2005 and June 2007 were included. A total of 317 EUS-FNA procedures were performed in 295 patients. Median patient age was 67 years (range, 19-92 years), and 174 (56%) were men. In the first 67 consecutive patients, 20 biopsies were performed with a 22-G needle, and in the next 250 with a 19-G needle. The yield of EUS-FNA with a 22-G needle was 23% and with a 19-G needle, 60%. Overall diagnostic yield was 63% for a pancreatic mass with a maximum diameter of 5 cm, 41% for a mass with a maximum diameter of 6-10 cm, and 13% for a mass larger than 10 cm. Of the 242 patients with a pancreatic mass located in the head of the pancreas, the yield was 79% and 40% for pancreatic masses with a maximum diameter of 5 cm and 6-10 cm, respectively, compared with 0% for masses larger than 10 cm. A lower yield of EUS-FNA was associated with lymph nodes, lesions without a discrete hypoechoic rim, and cystic pancreatic masses. Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration is a very valuable procedure in the diagnosis of pancreatic lesions. The yield is higher in lesions smaller than 5 cm and located in
