**Basic Photographic Processing** Photos are susceptible to a number of errors, whether or not they are taken as intended. The job of the photographer is to take images that convey an accurate portrayal of what he wants to convey. Techniques and predictors of early non-healing after total knee arthroplasty. Non-healing wounds represent a major complication after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The purpose of this study was to identify pre- and intraoperative predictors and evaluation techniques of healing. All consecutive primary cemented TKAs with a follow-up of at least 1 year were included. Data on pre- and intraoperative parameters were obtained from the institutional knee registry database. Wound healing was prospectively evaluated in 73 patients, 21 of whom were lost to follow-up. In 51/73 patients (70%) wound closure was observed, in 18/73 (25%) partial healing, in 2/73 (3%) delayed healing, in 1/73 (1%) failure, and in 1/73 (1%) healing was not possible.
